Another episode of "Neon Genesis Evangelion" begins, and with it another typical day at NERV H.Q.

Misato's infamous ex was enjoying the simple pleasures of life.

Watermelons. Oh, the Freudian symbolism is killing me. Ah, Kaji-san... And the first of the ADV-DVD-crap-snapshots that would have looked helluva worse if not for my misguided efforts.

Little did he suspect his every action was being watched...

Their usual, hackneyed antics -- duh!!!

Asuka's not especially fond of reusing her lines. Obviously.

"Dummkopf": Basic German insult. Look it up.

These two Asuka pics are from "Koutetsu no Girlfriend" or something. What can I say, they came in handy.

 

 Oh, hi Rei... Are you dead -yet-? Heh, sorry. I really don't hate -Rei- so much as I loath her testosterone-pumped fanboys. Someone shoot me now.

 

Hey, look... They're in an elevator all of a sudden. I.e., I was too lazy to paint the background black and thus keep the setting vague. Blah.

Yep, she put her glasses back on -just- to talk to Shinji.

Wherever -you're- going, Asuka, I'll be sure not to follow.


So far, indeed, a very typical day.

Almost suspiciously typical.

So, as you might guess, all of these screenshots are from their anime (in their original, undoctored states, anyway). I (Rachel K. Clark) can only take credit for wasting an incredible amount of time on this page that would no doubt be much better spent on innumerable other things. Best case scenario, this page might make some people laugh. Or this stab at overly sarcastic humor will just fail entirely. I won't know unless people e-mail me (or GAINAX knocks on my door one day with a big-arse lawsuit). Anyway, yeah, this page is for amusement only, and if I went around saying Asuka, Shinji, etc., were my own characters (not that I would possibly ever want to take the credit for inventing such amiable and psychologically well-balanced characters ;;p), no one worth speaking of would believe me, anyway.
