The Griffin and the Unicorn
Were dancing beak to cheek
To silent music only they could hear

The Unicorn leaned closer
And caressed him with her horn
The Griffin whispered softly in her ear

"I don't know how this magic moment
Ever came to be
Or how it is that we are dancing here

But I feel as if I've known you
For eternity
And only had forgotten you were near."

The Unicorn smiled gently
And her horn began to glow
The Griffin held her close and spread his wings

They didn't even notice
Hoof and paw prints on the clouds
And motes of light around them glimmering
